What Paperboy collects
Paperboy stores the email address, public feed URLs, relevance instructions, ignore terms, time zone, delivery status, and campaign attribution you submit. It also keeps the minimum operational records needed to send editions, honor unsubscribe requests, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
How it is used
The data is used to validate public feeds, rank feed items, send the brief and service messages, manage the subscription, process payment when hosted checkout is available, and understand product performance when optional analytics consent is enabled. If you opt in, those analytics can include anonymous website lifecycle events and edition opens or source-link clicks. A trial-start event is not recorded as a purchase. Without analytics opt-in, editions contain direct source links and no open pixel.
What Paperboy does not access
Paperboy does not connect to Gmail or read your inbox. It reads only the public RSS and Atom URLs you provide. The website does not load advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts.
Service providers and payment
Email, hosting, and payment providers process only the information needed to provide their service. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted checkout and are not stored by Paperboy.
Control and deletion
Every edition includes a way to unsubscribe. Use the private management link to stop delivery. To request access, correction, or deletion, reply to a Paperboy service email. Operational and legal records may be retained where required.
Security
Confirmation and management links are private credentials. Do not share them. Paperboy uses reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
